I'M GRADUATING!!!!

I can't believe that I am graduating this Saturday....it is SOOO crazy! After all the work in college I am going to be done!!! YAY! (That is until I decide to go get my master's....hehe) I don't think that it has fully set in, that I am graduating college in less than a week. I am still on the job hunt...so keep me in your prayers that God would put me that right job.

Michael has been so good with working so much this semester to get me through school and he's probably just as excited as I am for me to be done.... :). WOW! I did it in 3 and a half years too....not too shabby! :)

If you can't tell......woohoo....I'm excited.

We are grateful for your continued prayers, and love you all.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Friends and Family!
Just thought I would send a little note to all our friends and family. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We are so excited to be spending Thanksgiving with the Fowler Family. We haven't seen them in a very long time so it will be a great time! We're planning on leaving Wednesday but we will be coming back Thanksgiving night because both of us need to work Friday.

We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving...and we want to say we love you all!

Prayers Needed....

Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would send a little note out to keep us in your prayers. I am in the process of interviewing for jobs and am praying that I receive one. I am really interested in a few and it looks like one might hire me, but as always YOU NEVER KNOW. So just pray that God's will is done in our lives and that he will help us through until I am able to find a job. Things are stressful and tight and all of the above, and we are encouraged by everyone's continuing love and support. Love you guys!

Life at Home

Hello again. Life has somewhat slowed down in the Fowler household, but only for a little bit. With finals coming up for both of us and I am graduating...its just going to getcrazy again! :)

Michael ended up WINNING his voice competition, which is absolutely amazing! He got an award and money which always a good reward. :)

I am in the process of trying to find jobs after college. No luck yet, but I did get one interview so we shall see what happens.

Also, we have two new nieces in the family. This picture is Renee's newest, Samarah. She is so adorable. And then Rachel also just recently had a new baby girl named Marianna. So the Fowler family is growing! I do have to say that I absolutely LOVE being an Aunt! When you walk into a room and little kiddies are saying "Aunt Jessi!" and running to you to pick them up....oh it just melts my heart. Now I don't think I would have ever thought that I would be having 17 nieces and nephews right off the bat, but "the more the merrier!"

All is well, but keep us in your prayers.....job searching, holidays, all of the above....

Love you!

Beauty and the Beast

May I present Madame de la Grande Bouche, the wardrobe from Beauty and the Beast. What a DIVA! I had such a blast playing this part for Beauty and the Beast. Just a few weeks ago we finished the show, and I missing it so much already. It was such a chance of a lifetime to be part of this show and I can't imagine that it is already over

Michael and I have been keeping busy with the end of the semester fast approaching. I am so excited to graduate but overwhelmed with everything that I need to get done. Keep us in your prayers, I am currently looking for a full time job and hoping to either stay with M & I or work elsewhere, so hopefully I find something.

This weekend Michael is busy with his vocal competition NATS, and hopefully we will have another win on our hands. He has made it to the finals and we are hoping he will win again this year.

All in all, we've been busy and life just doesn't slow down. Love you all!

It's been awhile...

Why hello everyone! I know it's been awhile since we've written on here, we moved this summer and just have been getting settled ever since then. A lot has been happening in our lives over the summer. As I said, Michael and I moved into a duplex that we absolutely love. It feels like a home and not an apartment which is really nice. Here is a little sneek peak of what our living room looks like. For some reason this is the only picture I have on hand...but more will come at a later date. :)

Next is our new baby, Fiyero. He is our puppy that we got about a month and a half ago. We love him sooo much and he has just added so much more joy to our household. We just had to get him a haircut because he had too much fur and was too warm in this summer weather, but what we didn't realize was that they were going to SHAVE HIM. So now we have a shaved dog for awhile, until he gets his fur back.

But normally he looks like this.....

So he is our new addition to the family.

Also, an update on Michael. If you don't already know, Michael did not get into the Navy choir. He had a great audition and the Navy recruiters loved his voice and his talent but felt that he was too young, but that they wanted to keep his resume on file. They did tell him that he was the best tenor that auditioned, but just needed to get some more schooling done. So that's pretty great for him and also for our family. I believe it just wasn't God's timing for us to move yet.

In other news, I (Jessi) will be graduating this December with a degree in Communication!! I am very excited and also nervous. I am already starting to look for jobs in the area since Michael still has a few years of schooling left at UWSP. So please keep us in your prayers, and that God would show us what avenue for me to take after college.

Lastly, I am so excited to have a new cousin. My cousins, Brian and Genese, had their first child this week! Her name is Kayla Grace and she is so cute (from all the pictures I've seen). I absolutely can't wait to meet her.

Hope everyones' lives are going great and you will hear from us soon! Love you!

Keep us in your Prayers

Well, its getting to be that time of the year, when our lives just get crazy with the end of the school year approaching and the dreaded finals!!! But we are doing well. :)
Michael has his opera performance next week so I never get to see him because he has opera practice all time! But keep him in your prayers, that the performances go well. Also, if you haven't heard.....
Michael is auditioning for the Navy Choir! A tenor position opened and he is auditioning May 20th in Washington D.C. Please keep this in your prayers because this would be an AMAZING opportunity for him and a great financial move for the 2 of us. I will try to keep you updated as much as possible. Love you!

So Busy

It has been quite a busy past few weeks and that is why we haven't been able to post on here recently. Well lets see...what has been going on with the fowler family....

A couple weeks ago I was a very proud coach. My dance team went to nationals and took 1st and 2nd place and then made the grand champs or finals and got 3rd. They did an amazing job and Michael was there routing us on like a wonderful husband. :) And he got to hang out with my family too...

Michael and I also recently got asked to sing in a wedding next fall which will be SO much fun. We don't really know the couple but they know us through Michael's family. So its our first gig together....SO EXCITING!!!

Michael has hix first recital for college this friday, he is sharing a recital with Avery, a horn player, at UWSP. It should be really good...but keep him in your prayers and wish him luck!

Lets see, what else...oh and I am going to have a new cousin! My cousins Brian and Genese are having a little one...YAY! New baby in the family!

I think that this is all that is going on with us right now besides school and work. We are still looking at apartments and deciding if we are going to move or not, so we will keep everyone posted. Love you!
This my team at Nationals after we won 1st place!!!!

Pet Ideas?

So Michael and I had about the same dream last night, which was really weird. We both dreamt that we had two dogs. It was kind of cool! But anyways...onto why I'm on here. I would like some opinions. Michael and I are thinking about possibly getting a dog this summer. The reason we are waiting is so that we can be able to be home with the dog and train it, and with school we are home a good amount just not as much at the same time. So any suggestions on breeds we should go with? We are thinking of a small dog, staying around 20 pounds. So let me know what you all think....

Well, I am finally starting to feel better, which is good...just hope I can get fully better and feel back to my normal self. The apartment is finally starting to look like home, and starting to look CLEAN which is awesome. But we are starting to look at new apartments though, we are planning on moving more towards Plover in June, and to a apartment that is better for us. Hopefully we can find a place that is in our price range and a nice place for us to live. I do ask that you keep us in your prayers...I am looking for a job that has to do with my major, Communications. I like waitressing but I need to get experience in what I am going to do after college, so I am eagerly searching and applying, but no luck yet. Also, Michael is taking on people to accompany for school which is a lot of work on top of all his music for school. And lastly, just school and life for the both of us.

Feel free to comment back on our blog! I love hearing from everyone!
